The Romantic Piano with Piers Lane 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 19

To celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Frederic Chopin, London-based pianist Piers Lane, a specialist in the music of Chopin, explores a selection of the composer’s works – from the Ballade in g minor and the Sonata in b-flat minor to etudes, nocturnes, waltzes, and more.  In addition to his international career as a concert pianist, Lane is a well-known voice on BBC radio where he is currently recording a series of essays he has written about Chopin’s life and music.
